Illusion Temple

Runs six times a day, always on the half hour:

01:30 · 05:30 · 09:30 · 13:30 · 17:30 · 21:30

There are six levels, each round lasts 15 minutes, and all of them pay 10 WCoin.

1. Assemble the ticket

The ticket is called Scroll of Blood, and it does not drop from monsters. You assemble it in the Chaos Machine (Chaos Goblin, Noria 180/103):

Goes into the machine
1 Jewel of Chaos
1 Old Scroll 0.10% per kill
1 Illusion Sorcerer Covenant 0.10% per kill

Chance: 70%. Cost: 3,000 to 13,000 zen, depending on the level.

Both materials must be of the SAME level, as in Blood Castle. Different levels and the machine refuses.

The material's level comes from the monster that dropped it

Level Monster level Opens
1 46 – 57 Illusion Temple 1
2 58 – 68 Illusion Temple 2
3 69 – 76 Illusion Temple 3
4 77 – 84 Illusion Temple 4
5 85 – 101 Illusion Temple 5
6 102 – 150 Illusion Temple 6

Note the floor: the weakest material only drops from monsters level 46 and up. A new character does not gather an Illusion Temple ticket hunting in Lorencia.

2. Get in

With the Scroll of Blood in your inventory, talk to Mirage, in Elbeland 55/243, when the notice appears.

It opens with one person — no need to gather a party.

3. How it is played

It is not about killing monsters. It is a team dispute over an object:

  1. A stone appears on the map, the Cursed Hallow.
  2. Pick it up and hold it. Whoever has it is everyone's target.
  3. If you die, the stone drops and another team takes it.
  4. The team holding it when time runs out wins.

That is why the Illusion Temple is the most tactical event on the server: running with the stone alone does not work, and killing whoever has it is worth more than killing anyone else.

4. What you get

Level Experience Zen WCoin
1 300,000 50,000 10
3 380,000 70,000 10
6 500,000 100,000 10

The experience is the highest of any event on the server — half a million on level 6, against 130 thousand from Blood Castle.

And there is the rare prize:

0.05% chance, for each member of the winning team, of walking out with a ready Horn of Fenrir. It is the only place in the game that hands out the Fenrir without the four-mix chain — see Fenrir.

Why do it

It is the best use of fifteen minutes there is here. It pays the outside coin, pays the biggest event experience, needs no formed party, and level 1 opens as soon as you have level 46 material.
