Party and guild
Party
A party is people hunting together and splitting the experience of whatever dies.
A party pays more, and the maths explains it
It looks like splitting would be worse, and it is not. The server increases the pot as the party grows:
| People in the party | Total experience generated | Each one receives |
|---|---|---|
| alone | 100% | 100% |
| 2 | 160% | 80% |
| 3 | 225% | 75% |
| 4 | 260% | 65% |
| 5 | 300% | 60% |
Reading the last line: five people together generate three times the experience one alone would generate off the same monster, and each takes 60%.
In other words: it is worth it from the moment the party kills more than 1.7 times faster than you alone — which happens almost always.
The limit nobody tells you: five
The game lets you form a party of up to ten people. Do not.
The server's experience table only goes up to five. With six or more, the value the calculation uses is zero — and everyone in the party's experience becomes zero too.
Five is the useful maximum. It is not efficiency advice, it is the difference between getting experience and getting none.
Practical rules
- Everyone needs to be on the same map and nearby. Whoever wanders too far stops receiving.
- The split is by level: the higher character takes the bigger slice.
- If you drop out, you have 5 minutes to come back before the party releases you.
Guild
A guild is the permanent group: name, symbol, and a place in collective disputes.
How to create one
Talk to Royal Guard Captain Lorence, in Devias, 215/45.
Requires level 100. It does not cost zen.
What a guild gives
| Own chat channel | yes |
| Symbol next to the name | yes |
| War against another guild | /war <name> |
| Football against another guild | /soccer <name> |
| Alliance with other guilds | yes |
| Guild warehouse | does not exist on this server |
The shared warehouse is the thing most expected of a guild and here it is not enabled. Storing an item for another person means trusting them and using a normal trade — read trading safely.
GvG — guild against guild
Talk to the Stone Statue, in Lorencia, 130/122.
- Requires level 100.
- Happens every hour, at minute :18, plus 14:05 and 22:05.
- The window to enter is the 2 minutes before.
- Prize: 10 WCoin for the guild.
Alone works too
Nothing here is mandatory. The server has /offattack, which hunts with the game
closed, and no class depends on another to level up. Party and guild are a
shortcut and company — not a toll.
