What changed on WildMU

One wallet across all worlds, a real playtime ranking, the site in seven languages — and an admin panel where every staff action is on the record.

We've spent a while working on what sits behind the screen. None of it looks as good as a new pair of wings, but it's the kind of thing that changes what playing here feels like day to day.

Your wallet is one wallet

WCoin used to be per world. You'd buy on x1000, switch to x200, and the balance simply wasn't there — each server kept its own wallet. Nobody expects that from a wallet, and it isn't what we wanted either.

The balance is now global. It works across all three worlds, and switching servers no longer changes your number. Anyone holding different amounts across worlds kept the highest one.

Playtime ranking

The hours-played ranking showed everyone at zero. The server simply wasn't counting that time anywhere — there was nothing to sort.

There's a real count now, added minute by minute while you're online. It starts from zero for everyone, because the old time was never recorded and we're not going to invent numbers. From here on, whoever plays more climbs.

The site speaks your language

Shop, VIP and item descriptions are in seven languages — Portuguese, English, Spanish, German, French, Russian and Chinese. Not just the menu: the text of what you're actually buying.

And the part nobody usually mentions

Every MU private server carries the same suspicion, and it's a fair one: who guarantees the staff isn't making items for themselves?

We're not going to ask you to take our word for it. We'll tell you what now exists:

  • The staff works from a panel where every action is recorded — who did it, what they did, on which account, from which IP address and at what time.
  • That covers creating items, editing characters, granting or removing roles, approving top-ups, adjusting balances. Everything has an author and a timestamp.
  • Whoever did it cannot erase their own record.
  • Getting into that panel takes a password plus a code from an authenticator app. Holding a role isn't enough.
  • A GM role belongs to a character, not to the whole account. Whoever helps you is identifiable.

A record doesn't stop someone from doing something stupid. It stops them from doing it quietly.

Small things you'll notice

  • Your panel now shows which world each character is on
  • Forgot your password? You can recover it through your registered e-mail
  • E-mail is confirmed at sign-up, so the account is really yours
  • Discord linking, with a daily reward that grows on consecutive days

What's next

There's still broken stuff and missing stuff — and we'd rather say so than promise perfection. If something looks wrong, tell the team on Discord. Much of what got fixed this month came from a player complaining.

See you in Lorencia.
